Molly Siboulet-Ryan
Molly Siboulet-Ryan est interprète, créatrice et médiatrice en danse basée à Montréal/Tiohtià:ke et Dublin (Éire).
Diplômée de l'École de danse contemporaine de Montréal en 2020, elle continue sa pratique d’interprète, notamment avec le collectif BEATS. Elle développe en parallèle son propre projet créatif Bloom, explorant à travers solos et performances infiltrées les traumatismes causés par l'Église catholique et les injonctions faites aux femmes.
Sa recherche se prolonge aujourd'hui vers l'érotisme et la sensualité comme actes de résilience. Un nouveau solo, To that First Last One, qu'elle commence à créer avec le soutien du Conseil des Arts du Canada, sera diffusé à Tangente Danse, Montréal, en mars 2027.
Elle s'investit également comme interprète auprès de différents artistes et compagnies, nourrissant sa pratique au contact de processus de création variés.
En 2023, elle cofonde le Collectif Rhizome avec Marie Lévêque, portant des ateliers et des processus de création à l'intérieur des murs. À travers la Semaine Créative, elle accompagne des femmes incarcérées à reconnecter avec leurs corps et leurs imaginaires
Molly Siboulet-Ryan is a dance performer, creator and facilitator based in Montreal/Tiohtià:ke (Canada) and Dublin (Éire).
Having graduated from the School of contemporary dance of Montréal in 2020, she continues to perform, notably with the BEATS collective. At the same time, she develops her own creative project, Bloom, exploring through solos and immersive performances the trauma caused by the Catholic Church and the constraints placed on women.
Her research now extends to eroticism and sensuality as acts of resilience. A new solo piece, To that First Last One, which she began creating with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts, will be presented at Tangente Danse in March 2027.
She is also active as a performer with various artists and companies, enriching her practice through engagement with diverse creative processes.
In 2023, she co-founded the Collectif Rhizome with Marie Lévêque, running workshops and creative processes within prison walls. Through the Semaine Créative, she supports women in prison in reconnecting with their bodies and their imaginations.
